Walk with Japan for Livestrong (JPLS) leaders and family members alongside members from Rare Cancer Japan across Rainbow Bridge in celebrating Livestrong Day 2023 in honor and memory of loved ones affected by cancer.

Training Walk (Hiroo - Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park - Azabu Juban)

Walked through Arisugawa-no-miya park with friend John in honor and memory of his wife Peilun who ran out of time to cancer. It was raining that today but like in life, we all must move forward in some way. We had intended to walk to Tokyo Tower but due to the heavy rain, we stopped at a cafe actually near the place where Peilun lived when they first met. Heard beautiful stores and even had a hard laugh about an incident in Paris! :D Cheers to Peilun! You are missed and will never be forgotten! 

Training Walk (Inokashira Park)

Walked throughout Inokashira Park in Kichijoji. Beautiful green! Grateful with hope! 

Training Walk (Koenji <-> Nakano Heiwanomori Park)

Walked to Nakano Heiwanomori Park where my longtime friend Ako-chan showed me around that park. Thank you for your support all these years Ako-chan! Grateful with hope! 

Preserved entrance of a former political prison in Japan. My friend and local residents succeeded in preventing it from being demolished. History can teach us lessons for the present and future.

Training Walk (Koenji <-> Nakano Kitano Shrine)

Walked to the other station, Nakano, next to my home and visited Nakano Kitano Shrine. Enjoy! Grateful with hope!
